Responsibilities

Resource Support Specialist III: This is a senior postion requiring fiancials skills in tracking, monitoring, and reconciling government and stakeholder resources and assets

  • Posting, balancing monitoring, and reconciling internal department/division monthly ledgers, budgetsand financial reporting system reportspreparing drafts of budget planning documents;and preparing  milestone status reports and presentations for colleaguessubordinatesand end user representatives.    
  • Experience with tracking past current, and future expenditures at varying levels (office, programperformer) and   providing support to annual budget submissions. 

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

General Experience: The Resource Support Specialist III shall have a minimum of 15 years experience in financial management. Experience with implementing government policies and procedures accounting principles, and multi-tiered system application standards; posting, balancing , monitoring, and reconciling internal department/division monthly ledgers,

budgets, and financial reporting system reports; preparing drafts of budget planning documents;and preparing  milestone  status reports and presentations for colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives.    Experience with tracking past , current, and future expenditures at varying levels (office, program, performer) ; and   providing support to annual budget submissions. Superior skills with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
