Overview

PotomacWave is seeking a Stakeholder Management Support Analyst to provide program support for a task providing change management, stakeholder engagement and communications support.

 

The project contributes to a critical Homeland Security initiative that supports the government’s mission to transform the current immigration system.

Responsibilities

The Stakeholder Management Support Analyst must be proactive and able to work as a team player with other contractors and government staff providing change management support. The candidate will have excellent communication and personal skills and be able to express one’s ideas clearly, concisely, and accurately, both verbally and in writing. This role requires an independent thinker and self-starter who can identify areas for improvement and articulate and effect change while coordinating with federal team members.

 

  • Recommend industry practices and techniques for presenting transformation to peers and management; and monitor and assist in the evaluation of release-level change management activities.
  • Assist in developing communication strategies and tactics leveraging multiple communication media (conference calls, newsletters, web content, teleconferences, and face-to-face communications) to ensure regular communication with diverse stakeholder communities.
  • Provide analytical support for data collection and customer feedback initiatives.
  • Be able to work with technical subject matter experts and project/program managers to translate development releases, technical incidents and enhancements into plain language.
  • Provide technical support by preparing for meetings with industry, Congressional representatives, other Government agencies, the public, and other oversight entities in response to requirements, changing legislation and regulatory directives
  • Provide support for ECN SharePoint development and management that includes creation and monitoring of ECN sites.  Craft policies and SOPs with regard to the use of the ECN sites.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of professional experience supporting change management and stakeholder communication initiatives.
  • Minimum of 1 year program or project management experience associated with Agile development efforts.
  • Minimum of 2 years program or project management experience associated with development of communication strategies and tactics supporting IT initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of MS SharePoint development and management
  • Strong familiarity with complete MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
