  • Overview

    PotomacWave is seeking a Stakeholder Research Support Analyst to provide program support for a task providing change management, stakeholder engagement and communications support. This role will function as a member of a multifunctional team. The project contributes to a critical Homeland Security initiative that supports the government’s mission to transform the current immigration system.


    The Stakeholder Research Support Analyst must be proactive and able to work as a team player with other contractors and government staff providing research and change management support. The candidate will have excellent communication and personal skills and be able to express one’s ideas clearly, concisely, and accurately, both verbally and in writing. This role requires an independent thinker and self-starter who can identify areas for improvement and articulate and effect change while coordinating with federal team members.


    • Strategize, develop and implement voice of customer solutions.
    • Provide analytical support and develop recommendations for data collection and customer feedback initiatives to provide fact-based insights to improve customer experience.
    • Manage instrument design, data collection, database management, and data analysis.
    • Create organized processes for storing and managing data.
    • Assist in developing communication strategies and tactics leveraging multiple communication media (conference calls, newsletters, web content, teleconferences, and face-to-face communications) to ensure regular communication with diverse stakeholder communities.
    • Recommend industry practices and techniques for presenting OIT activities to peers and management.



    • Five to seven+ years customer insights and research background. Experience with voice of customer and analytical strategy preferred.
    • Minimum of 2- year program or project management experience associated with Agile development efforts.
    • Familiarity with full range of qualitative and quantitative research tools and techniques. Experience with or in-depth knowledge preferred online surveys, focus groups and interviews, design and moderation and multivariate and regression analysis.
    • Strong familiarity with complete MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
    • Strong project management skills preferred.

    Knowledge Areas

    • Familiarity with USCIS immigration system preferred
    • Experience with or in-depth knowledge preferred online surveys, focus groups and interviews, design and moderation and multivariate and regression analysis.
    • Experience with customer experience initiatives preferred.

    • Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment, with competing priorities

    Education / Certifications

    • BS Degree in related field. Master’s degree preferred.

    Clearance Requirements

    • Candidate must be a US citizen with an active SECRET-level security
    • Will need to obtain DHS EOD suitability is required but existing suitability is a plus
