    PotomacWave is currently seeking a SharePoint Developer to support one of our Federal clients sitting at their campus in SE Washington, DC!


    The project is a fast paced environment supporting a critical United States Coast Guard initiative.


    • Utilize JavaScript to manage, reference, retrieve and update data in collaboration platform.
    • Design, develop, and customize team sites, forms, libraries, lists, views, web parts and workflows.
    • Use JavaScript and jQuery to customize page behavior.
    • Provide support and guidance to users on SharePoint 2010/2013 features and functionalities.
    • Design, develop, test, and maintain pages using JavaScript and client side coding for intranet websites and client portals deployed to SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013 environments.
    • Create workflows using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath.
    • Attend customer and staff meetings as required.
    • Capture business requirements and discuss integration, usability and limitations of JavaScript and SharePoint.
    • Provide technical assistance to team members and customers.
    • Administer permissions and provide level of access.
    • Create standard operating procedures for JScript/SP tools and write corresponding technical documentation.


    Required Skills

    • 2-3 years experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
    • Desire to learn SharePoint, InfoPath and workflows.
    • Desire to learn new skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.
    • Good customer service skills and willingness to work with clients to solve their problems.



    Desired Skills

    • Familiarity with RESTful web services, Knockout.js, DataTables, amCharts/Highcharts and other SharePoint APIs preferable.
    • Familiarity in designing dashboards, KPIs and metrics using JavaScript.
    • Familarity with building workflows using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath.
