Providing expertise and program management assistance in identifying potential courses of action to recover and reuse obligations, liquidating aging obligations, and improving the accuracy of obligation balances.
Providing expertise and program management assistance in improving the accuracy, completeness and validity of unfilled customer order transactions.
Providing support in the development and implementation of internal controls over budgetary resource management to remediate internal control weaknesses/gaps identified in the external audit and to align with DHS control standards.
Providing facilitation and support in areas of internal/external auditing and financial accounting.
Providing expertise and assistance in resolving audit deficiencies.
Providing support to review and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Providing program management assistance in support of the Government’s program management for MAPs, coordinating communications, and supporting change management
To be fully qualified, an associate must have a bachelor's degree, and 0.5 years of relevant
government work experience. In addition, an associate must have experience auditing federal
agencies financial statements, or performing audit readiness work in the Department of
Homeland Security as a government employee or contractor directly in support of an audit
readiness task order.
